Former SNL castmates Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are teaming up once again for the new indie dramedy The Skeleton Twins, but this time it's no laughing matter.

Playing a set of estranged twins, Milo (Hader) and Maggie (Wiig), who are reunited after 10 years apart when Milo attempts suicide, the two comic vets prove they can not only deliver the drama, but the laughs as well when all that emotion gets too heavy.

The trailer frontloads the funny straight away with Hader's reaction to Wiig spoiling the ending of Marley & Me.

But it's Milo's attempt to make up with Maggie after a fight that is the true standout moment of the clip.

Coaxing Wiig into joining him during a well-choreographed song and dance, Hader's lip-sync to Starship's '80s hit "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," showcases the talented twosome at their best—even though their weighty depiction of existential struggle throughout the movie is first-rate too.

See more of the duo's chemistry on display when the Craig Johnson-directed film hits theaters on September 19.
