While Tori Spelling may be putting on a brave face in the wake of her marital woes, her social media account seems to hint that there's more drama going down between the 41-year-old star and her husband Dean McDermott.

Following a string of highly publicized fights and very personal revelations on the couple's reality show True Tori, the blond beauty has abruptly dropped her hubby's name from her Twitter handle, changing her name from @ToriandDean to @ToriSpelling. She has also done the same with her Instagram account.

On last season of True Tori, cameras followed the pair after it was revealed that Dean had an extramarital affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand just before Christmas while he was away promoting his new gig as the host of Chopped Canada. During the dramatic season, McDermott revealed that he contemplated suicide in addition to drinking and admitting to doing drugs, while Tori broke down in tears and cried that she could never give her husband "enough sex."

But despite the drama, Spelling insists the two, who have been married for eight years, are doing much better.

While appearing on Good Morning America Wednesday to promote her new show Mystery Girls with pal Jennie Garth, the actress revealed that the future is looking brighter when it comes to couple's relationship.

"Things are getting better," Spelling said. "You know, life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well, but we are moving in the right direction."

As for the feedback she's gotten from friends and family regarding the dramatic season of True Tori, she said on GMA, "Some people approved of it, some people didn't. It was my personal journey and I have no regrets."

Although Tori may have received some backlash, she echoed the same optimistic sentiments when she appeared on The View later that same day. "I feel like all relationships are a work in progress and we're working on it right now. We're trying."

And while the Twitter change may seemingly suggest that there's more trouble for the pair, a source tells E! News that the reality star simply wanted to give her handle a makeover before the premiere of her ABC Family series.

"It's not a statement about her relationship with Dean," the source tells us. "She's focusing on Mystery Girls right now so she wanted the Twitter handle to just be her."

"The situation with Dean is the same," the insider adds. "They are still working on their marriage. She's very committed to her family and is trying to keep it together."
