This. Is. Our. Everything.

Sarah Jessica Parker is coming back to TV in a new series called Busted, teaming up with the producers that brought you True Detective. And in related news, the angels are singing, the unicorns are spewing rainbows, and everything is right in the world.

How much have you been missing your Carrie Bradshaw?!

Now, granted, this new TV project has nothing to do with the iconic Sex and the City, but it does have the True Detective production company Anonymous Content attached, and so we will most assuredly take it.

Busted, which has been optioned by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, is a limited-run series based on the non-fiction book Busted, A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love. It is being developed as an hour-long show, with Parker attached to star as one of the two leads. (The other has not yet been named.)

The book, which was released in March 2014, was written by two reporters, Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker, who successfully took down a huge police corruption scandal in Philadelphia. The story chronicles their incredible 10-month investigation.

Sounds very True Detective-esque, yes? Clearly, someone's True Detective season two fantasy meme is coming true!

HBO's True Detective also will be coming back for second season, and although we have been told that the series will include three females as the leads, no actresses have been named. Apparently, SJP is out of the running.
