During today's big celebration in honor of the L.A. Kings' Stanley Cup win, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti was so excited about taking home the trophy that he intentionally dropped an F-bomb!

While giving a speech to hoards of hockey fans and proud Angelenos, Garcetti, who was sporting a black Kings jersey, proved he's one badass sports fan.

"They say there are two rules in politics," he said from the stage (warning: this video is not bleeped). "Never, ever be pictured with a drink in your hand and never swear. But this is a big f--king day."

The fans in attendance cheered and yelled at the mayor's perfectly placed F-bomb.

Also in attendance during today's celebration were the member of the L.A. Kings, who proudly held up their Stanley Cup trophy for all to see.

Meanwhile, Garcetti has been tweeting about L.A.'s big win nonstop. Right after the Kings won, he wrote, "Start spreading the news...LA has just won! #gokingsgo." He added, "Welcome home, Stanley. We missed you."

And today, Garcetti shared a pic of the trophy, writing, "Celebration starts now. #BecauseItsTheCup #GoKingsGo."
