Father's Day 2014 is particularly exciting for Prince William, because this Sunday, he will get a chance to celebrate the holiday for the first time ever as a parent himself!

So what's the plan for Prince George's dad? A palace source tells E! News for a portion of the day, William "will be playing in a polo match to raise money for some of his charities."

This is "one of a number of matches [William] and his brother [Prince Harry] play in over the summer to raise money and awareness for good causes," adds the source.

Although the palace source didn't offer "specific details" about how William plans to spend his first Father's Day, we're guessing it's safe to say Prince George (with a little help from Kate Middleton, perhaps) will have some sort of surprise in store for daddy!

Sunday's not the only big date coming up on the royals' calendar though! Buckingham Palace just announced that William, Kate and Harry will all attend the Commonwealth Games in Scotland next month. As you surely recall, the royal trio were all official ambassadors for Team Great Britain and Paralympics Team Great Britain during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Kate, William and Harry will join spectators at sporting championships July 28. The games officially open July 23 with a closing ceremony on Aug. 3.

The really big event coming up for the royal fam, though? Prince George's first birthday, which falls on July 22—just before the Commonwealth Games.
