The Band Perry songstress married Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville, Tenn. As you can see, local station WJHL News Channel 11 captured footage of the hometown bride wowing in white. They also shot footage of some of her famous wedding guests—including Carrie Underwood and hubby Mike Fisher, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, and, of course, Kimberly's brothers and bandmates, Reid and Neil Perry.
The wedding reception took place at the bride's parents' home, which was where J.P. proposed to Kimberly with an emerald-cut diamond in September 2013. Shortly after getting engaged, Kimberly gushed to The Tennesseean that her baseball beau is "just a really gentle soul," adding, "He balances me for sure."
The thoughtful athlete even proposed in front of an oak tree on the Perry property, which Kimberly says she knew the moment she saw it, she knew, "If I get proposed to in this life, I hope it happens underneath this tree."
J.P. knew how much it would mean for Kimberly's parents and brothers to be there when he popped the question. "They're a close family and I wanted them there," he explained to ESPN. "We had it set up that the family was sitting there and I was going to show up at the bottom of the hill and have her see me and have me walk up."
So sweet! Fellas, take note, and congratulations again to the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Arencibia!
