Giuliana and Bill Rancic have had their fair share of troubles, and recently, the pair had to deal with some devastating news—the couple has revealed that their surrogate Delphine has suffered a miscarriage.
However, the tragedy has not made them lose hope. In fact, it's brought them even closer together.
Appearing on E! News tonight, Bill tells Jason Kennedy that he's been "good" since revealing what happened, and continues, "Fortunately some time has passed and you're gonna find out in marriage, there's gonna be highs, there's gonna be lows and you're gonna have to battle things out. As for us, we're not quitters and we're going to hopefully have another baby one day soon."
Giuliana adds, "Before we had Duke, we had struggles there too. We were trying for years to have a baby, we had a miscarriage then, so to see Duke, you realize, 'Wow. Everything is meant to happen for a reason.' And we wouldn't have Duke, so I mean it's pretty incredible to think how life works."
Bill concludes, "Challenging times will bring you closer together in a marriage."
When the couple announced the news about the miscarriage, Giuliana gave the following statement exclusive to E! News: "Bill and I want to grow our family more than anything else, so as you can imagine we were shocked and saddened when we received the bad news.
"We are incredibly appreciative of all the love and support from our viewers who have been on our journey for the past seven seasons and hope to have good news to share with everyone soon. We have had our share of ups and downs and our faith is strong therefore we know in the end, everything will be OK."
