When a cap and gown go on, the grudge match is called off.

Seemingly abiding by this combat etiquette, both Brandi Glanville, 41, and LeAnn Rimes, 31, stopped their long-standing feud in order to peacefully attend their son's (and stepson's, respectively) 5th grade graduation ceremony Tuesday.

Eleven-year-old Mason is moving on up to the 6th grade and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joined the country singer in deciding to use Twitter to celebrate his accomplishments as opposed to what they typically use the social platform for—exchanging jabs.

The "proud mamma" wiped her "cry baby" tears and was all smiles as she wrapped her arms lovingly around her recent graduate in this posted pic. Declaring her son, "perfection," Brandi also added an elated, "I'm sooooo proud of my son."

And according to Mrs. Cibrian's tweet, all went well at the commencement, observing her stepson "had lots of love in one room," on an "awesome, crazy family & friends day."

Brandi had Mason and 7-year-old son Jake with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, 40, who left her for an also-married LeAnn after the two engaged in an extramarital fling while filming Northern Lights.

The clashing Glanville-Cibrian clan has been at odds ever since and with an upcoming reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, set to debut on VH1 soon, viewers will now be able to witness the drama firsthand.
