Melanie Griffith has filed for divorce from hubby Antonio Banderas, but that doesn't mean she's ready to part with the wedding ring she's worn for the past 18 years of marriage.

On Monday, just days after publicly confirming her and Antonio's split, the 56-year-old actress emerged from a Beverly Hills salon wearing a simple gold band on that finger. She couldn't get past the photographers, though, without being asked of her ex, "Will you guys remain friends?"

Her simple, concise response? "I imagine we will."

Somehow we imagine they'll remain friends, too, especially considering their split was reportedly an amicable one. The former couple, who have a 17-year-old daughter named Stella together, also issued a joint statement Friday regarding their split, saying, "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together - Melanie & Antonio"

This will be the second divorce for Antonio (who was married to Ana Leza from 1987 to 1996) and the fourth for Melanie (who was married from Don Johnson briefly in 1976, divorced, and then remarried to him from 1989 to 1996; she was also married to Steven Bauer from 1982 to 1987).

We wish the very best for everyone involved!
