The binge-inducing Netflix series returns with all new episodes of our favorite behind-bars gals this Friday. And that means front-runner Taylor Schilling is likely to be getting into a few more yard fights to say the least. But before we see what her alter ego Piper Chapman is up to, let's look back on the actress' red carpet record so far.
The 29-year-old rarely gets out of her orange ensemble in the hit show, on the other side of the prison bars she's a regular on the best dressed list. The actress scored her first big red carpet win while promoting The Lucky One alongside scorching costar Zac Efron back in 2012.
Then the blonde beauty literally made us green with envy in a wispy emerald Thakoon creation at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, landing her on our best dressed list. Her latest look once again left our knees weak—a sharp knitted Vionnet dress at her series' photocall in London.
While Schilling generally keeps a low profile, she recently opened up to The Guardian about her career apex—President Barack Obama dropping an "orange really is the new black" punchline at the White House Correspondents dinner.
"I think it might be the highlight of my life," Schilling told The Guardian. "I mean, the president! So by that I can deduce that he knows what the show is, and if he knows the show, then I'm in a lot of the show, so the president knows who I am."
