And the bride wore—drumroll please—Givenchy!
E! News has confirmed that Kim Kardashian donned a Givenchy Haute Couture gown when she tied the knot with Kanye West in Florence, Italy, on Saturday. The ceremony was held at the historic Forte di Belvedere, a 16th-century-era fortress atop a hill near the Arno river.
Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci is close friends with the newlyweds, and earlier today E! News confirmed Kim had a dress fitting with him just days before the nuptials. The white lace gown features handmade lace work and strategic sheer paneling, and this was also included in the ethereal long silk veil.
Givenchy also dressed the groom in a custom wedding tuxedo and North West in a haute couture dress matching her mom's one-of-a-kind number.
Tisci designed the now-famous floral, gloved gown that Kim wore to the Met Gala last year. He's also gifted North West with mini versions of his own designs, and recently he called Kim "the Marilyn Monroe of our age," in an interview with The Sunday Times.
The night before, the couple hosted a lavish pre-wedding dinner at the Palace of Versailles in France. For that celebration, Kim opted for a very sexy Maison Martin Margiela white tuxedo jacket ensemble.
The festivities included a special performance by Lana Del Rey and fireworks. Guests included Valentino Garavani, Alexander Wang, André Leon Tally, Oliver Rousteing, Joel Silver, Steve McQueen, David Blaine, NeNe Leakes, Big Sean and Tyga. "Epic night in Paris," a source told E! News of the bash. "Everyone was crying because they have never experienced such a party!"
The pair's nuptials on Saturday were a much more intimate affair. Kimye said "I Do" in front of around 100 people, made up of their very best friends and family.
