Cody Simpson and his Dancing With the Stars partner Witney Carson are sounding off on Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's big DWTS win!
"I'm so happy," the Aussie singer, who was booted from the show during week five, told E! News at the DWTS finale.
"I think they totally deserved it," Carson added.
"They killed it every single week," Simpson went on. "Everyone did, it was a tough competition. Anyone would have been very deserving. But I was so impressed by Maks and Meryl's dancing every single week. Yeah, it's great."
As for the romance rumors suggesting Meryl and Maks are secretly dating in real life, Carson smiled, "I have no idea. I would assume."
"The chemistry's there!" Simpson gushed. "The chemistry's there. We all look at them sometimes and we're like, ‘Uh, OK.'"
"They definitely could be something, but I don't think anyone knows for sure," Carson added. "They're definitely keeping it a secret."
After her big DWTS win, Meryl told E! News, "I'm kind of not really sure what's going on right now, much as I was at the Olympics...I just feel so lucky,"
"[It's] everything I thought it would be," Maks added. "This season's been amazing."
