Jennifer Lawrence attended the Oscars for the third time this year, and instead of bringing her family, the Best Supporting Actress nominee invited her best friend Laura to attend the star-studded event.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

"She was a terrible influence on me," the American Hustle star, 23, admitted on NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers Wednesday. "We left and then she was like, 'Meet me at the bar.' So I snuck out and I was like, 'Oh, my god!' I can't do this!' And she was like, 'You can do whatever you want!' We ran into Brad Pitt and she was like, 'Get Brad Pitt over here!' I was like, 'I can't do that!' And she was like, 'Yes you can!' So I just went, 'Hey, Brad Pitt!' He came over. He smelled like sandalwood. It was unbelievable."

Lawrence's behind-the-scenes shenanigans paled in comparison to her late-night party, however. "I've never gone out after Golden Globes or Oscars or anything. I'm just so sick of people by that point. I'm like, 'Ugh, god!' But this time I was like, 'I'm going out.' And I puked all over," the actress admitted.

She attended Guy Oseary and Madonna's "big, fancy party" with Laura. "If you get invited you're, like, super important," the X-Men: Days of Future Past star joked. "And I puked on his porch. I was in such bad condition and I look behind me while I'm puking and Miley Cyrus is there, like, 'Get it together.'"

While Lawrence may have been embarrassed that night, she used her Late Night appearance to embarrass her older brothers. "I was the little sister. There was nothing I could do. They threw me down stairs. I thought I was going to die every day. Then I turned out to be famous and I talk about it on talk shows. That is perfect karma for me," the actress said, laughing. "I don't feel bad about that."

(E! and Late Night are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
