There's an old saying that a bride needs four items on her wedding day: something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.

Legend has it, if all four items are not represented during her ceremony she will be cursed with bad luck, and the relationship will not last. (Pro tip: Just do it. Let's not leave this one to chance, ladies!) But curse or no curse, it's just a fun tradition for brides.

So in light of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding being right around the corner, we thought we'd predict what her borrowed, blue, old and new items will be. Keep reading to see our best guesses!

Something Old: Moms always appreciate having a piece of their own wedding incorporated into their daughter's big day. Personally, we are big fans of recycling a mother's veil for a second time around. It would be a sweet (and tear-jerking) touch if Kris passed down a token from her own wedding to Kim, like a veil.

Something New: Something tells us Kim won't be wearing a hand-me-down dress on her big day. Her something new will definitely be her gorgeous designer gown.  While we may have a few guesses as to what exactly she'll be walking down the aisle in, we know that this brand-new gown will be a one-of-a-kind piece for the future Mrs. West.

Something Borrowed: In order for North to play a part in the wedding, we are predicting that Kim creatively includes a small piece of her daughter as a part of her final look. Our favorite idea is to use one of Nori's adorable accessories as a finishing touch in her bridal bouquet. The piece would be small, understated and sentimental.

Something Blue: If Blue Ivy is in attendance then that would totally cover Kim's something blue requirement. But then again, having Nori and Blue Ivy may just be too much cuteness in one room. An easy way to work blue into Kim's outfit would be to add the finishing touch underneath her wedding dress in a garter. Embroidered with some of Kanye's most sentimental lyrics, and she would be wearing a small token of her love throughout the ceremony.
