No plans for Memorial Day this year? Don't worry, Gordon Ramsay's got you covered.

The celeb chef's hit culinary competition MasterChef is back for its fifth season on Monday, May 26, and fans can expect the Fox series to be "five times better than it's ever been."

At least that's what recently slimmed-down judge Graham Elliot promises in an exclusive sneak peek at the new season.

And yes, fans can expect to see the judges, including Ramsay, Elliot and Joe Bastianich, go back to their hard-hitting ways after softening up a bit for MasterChef Junior. But just how "intense" are their critiques this season?

"The fact that the contestants are on fire, the judges are coming in hard, hitting hard, raising  the bar, making  the challenges exciting.," Elliot says in the exclusive video above, which features Bastianich throwing a plate of food in the garbage, while later introducing "the biggest challenge or biggest disaster" in MasterChef history. No pressure or anything!

Plus, the video also gives viewers their first look at the 30 chefs vying for the MC crown, including a secretary, a surgeon and even a burlesque dancer! And you can expect to see the 30 contestants go at it in the kitchen as Bastianich previews, "It gets personal this year." Cue a whole bunch of fighting among the contestants and orders to "get some in the pan and cook some bacon!"

MasterChef premieres Monday, May 26 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
