Mick Jagger might be 70 years old, but he certainly doesn't seem like a grandfather.

But the Rolling Stones rocker is actually a great-grandfather now that his 21-year-old granddaughter Assisi Jackson and her partner, chef Alex Key, have welcomed a baby girl of their own, per Hello! magazine.

This is the first grandchild for Mick's 42-year-old daughter Jade Jagger. The kicker, though? Jade, Assisi's mother, is expecting her third child, so this newly minted grandmother will become a mother after having been pregnant alongside her daughter. Whew!

Jade told Hello! that her daughter (and soon-to-be big sister once again) will "be a perfect mum," saying, "Assisi is a level-headed, sweet girl and I think it will give them both a lot of pleasure. It gives you an amazing purpose in life, to fulfill nature's destiny."

As for Assisi's grandfather Mick? The new mom admitted she was "not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called [a great-grandfather]."

"I call him Mick," she clarified, adding, "I wouldn't start calling him Grandpa."

The legendary musician, however his family chooses to address him, surely welcomes the good news of his great-grandchild's arrival after a tough start to 2014. In March, his girlfriend of 13 years, designer L'Wren Scott, committed suicide at age 49.

Mick, clearly heartbroken, vowed in a Facebook post to "never forget" his late love, remembering her having a "great presence" and "talent [that] was much admired, not least by me."
