Needless to say, America Ferrera's first trip to Cannes has been quite the eventful experience.

After a man crawled under her dress at the premiere of How to Train Your Dragon 2 Friday night, the actress hit a beachside party and told friend after friend that approached her about the incident, "I don't even know what happened!," according to Vulture. "I feel something behind me, and there's this guy under my dress, and then two guys drag him away!"

While the 30-year-old actress was posing at the film fest next to costar Cate Blanchett in a stunning Georges Hobeika gown, a man wearing a tuxedo hopped on the carpet and poked his head under her dress. Then, he held on to Ferrera's ankle as security tried to haul him away.

Ferrera went on to dish on the now infamous moment to the site, saying with a laugh, "Of all of the things I prepared myself for, that was not one of them."

"If you'd asked me what my first experience at Cannes was going to be, I would not have imagined there would be dragons," she continued. "I would not have imagined there would be, um, ankle biters on the carpet."

Ferrera, who met Blanchett for the first time that day, added, "It felt like a crazy weird dream. It was like, I was at Cannes in my dream. I was on the red carpet and Cate Blanchett was next to me, and then some guy jumped under my dress!"

Needless to say, Ferrera wasn't the only one shocked by the crazy moment.

The film's director, Dean DeBlois, told the mag, "It was so confusing. I thought someone was coming to fluff her dress for the photo and all of a sudden he's, like, under it. And it was all sort of over before anyone could process it. He got hauled off and thrown in jail."

The dress creeper in question turned out to be Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk—the same prankster who tried to kiss Will Smith on the red carpet back in 2012, and got a slap in the face instead.

According to the Daily Mail, Sediuk has a long history of red carpet pranks. Among other things,  in January at the SAG Awards, he lunged at Bradley Cooper and put his face in his crotch. Then, he did just about the same thing to Leonardo DiCaprio at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
