Seeing how Ed Sheeran is one of Taylor Swift's closest friends, it stands to reason that he would try and play matchmaker when it comes to her love life, right?
Well, think again.
When the question came up during the Fault in Our Stars premiere on Wednesday, Sheeran simply replied, "No, no, not really."
Fair enough. After all, the guy does have his own romance to focus on.
Earlier this week, the 23-year-old artist revealed that he has a girlfriend.
However, Sheeran admitted that he doesn't serenade his lady.
"I don't like to sing to her in private because that's really creepy and weird," he explained while talking to KIIS FM. "If someone did that to you, like legitimately, if someone sat you down like, 'Hey baby, I'll come play some...' You'd be a bit awkward right?"
And while he refused to give too many details on his girlfriend, he did say she's "nice" and "really cool" and noted that Swift has given her stamp of approval.
"[Taylor] likes her," Sheeran said.
