Can you think of a better person to hit a theme park with than Jennifer Lawrence

Neither can Hugh Jackman.

The X-Man: Days of Future Past star told E! News during the film's NYC junket that, while they were shooting the movie in Montreal, he took his kids to a local theme park and ended up being joined by his costars and real-life couple Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.

"We were just on roller coasters—no security, no this, no backup. Just getting around," Jackman recalled. "And she just manages to handle this incredible fame and power that she has with real ease. On top of that, she's a brilliant actor."

Asked what he thinks the greatest thing about J.Law is, Jackman said frankly that the best thing about her is that there are "not a lot of surprises."

"What you see is what you get, and I've met her and worked with her...The way you imagine her to be is how she is."

Considering pretty much everyone thinks Lawrence is just the coolest...

"She's not only one of the most talented actors I've met, she's one of the most authentic," Jackman described the "young kid." "Very down to earth, no ego. She has a lot of fun doing what she does."

And while he admits that he doesn't hang out with J.Law and Hoult that often, since he tends to spend his downtime with his family whenever possible, Jackman said that he "would happily hang out with those guys because they're really terrific. I had a great time with them."

We're gonna guess that Jackman isn't such bad company, either.
