Press play and close your eyes. Do you picture Robert Pattinson with that voice? Heck no—and that just goes to show the level of talent the actor has.

The latest trailer for the star's new film The Rover was released today featuring R.Pattz getting into an intense conversation with his co-star Guy Pearce.

"Because I believe in God and Henry believes in God, and there's no harm Henry wants to see me come to and I believe in that," Pattinson's character, Rey (a naïve and injured gang member who was previously left for dead), said.

"I'll tell you what God's given you," Pearce's character, Eric, says. "He's put a bullet in you and he's abandoned you out here to me. He feels nothing for you. He couldn't give a f--k if you died tomorrow."

The Rover is set in the futuristic Australian outback. After a gang of criminals stole his sole possession, Eric (Pearce) goes on a mission to track his missing car down and enact justice. Along the way, he enlists the help of Rey (Pattinson).

Directed and co-written by David Michôd, the crime drama also stars actors Scoot McNairy, Anthony Hayes, Gillian Jones, Susan Prior, Nash Edgerton, David Field, Jamie Fallon and Samuel F. Lee.

The Rover has been chosen as an Official Selection at Cannes and will premiere at the film festival later this month. It hits theaters in New York City and L.A. June 13 and goes nationwide June 20.
