Watch: Carson Daly on New Look "Voice" Coaches

Make way for the new coaches!

Though fans won't get their real first look at Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams in the iconic spinning chairs until next season, The Voice's new season seven coaches stopped by the NBC reality hit on Monday night to perform together and it was just as awesome as you'd expect it to be...just ask host Carson Daly!

"Those guys are two pros, two great additions to our family here. It was good to see them," Carson gushed to E! News when we caught up with him after the show. "I haven't seen Gwen Stefani perform in awhile and she's just on it and Pharrell's just fantastic!"

Carson also complimented the duo's "chemistry," noting that they have "previous history" because they actually cowrote "Hollaback Girl," Stefani's 2005 hit, which they performed on Monday night. "They're going to be great additions to the show," he told us.

Of course, we had to ask Carson about Adam Levine's shocking new platinum blond 'do, but he admitted he was more surprised by Blake Shelton's lack of hair-related jokes than the Maroon 5 frontman's new look.

"All day Blake was texting me, like, 'Oh, I got some good ones! Billy Idol, Susan Powter, Miley Cyrus.' But he only had a couple of them," Carson said.

But what does Carson actually think of Adam's bold new look? Watch our interview with him above to find out!

(E! and The Voice are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
