The ballroom got a little heated on Monday night.
Dancing With the Stars welcomed Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller, who is known for her outspoken and aggressive (and that's putting it mildly) teaching style, as a guest judge, but she was the one who ended up receiving poor scores!
After she criticized Olympian Meryl Davis' footwork during her rumba, Meryl's professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy did not hold back, telling Erin Andrews, "I really don't care for anything she has to say." Abby must be toast 'cause she just got burned, y'all!
So what did the Dance Moms star think of Maks' comments? And does Makes regret what he said? We chatted with Abby and Maks after Monday's show to get their thoughts on their heated exchange...
"I don't think it was hurtful to me, no sweat off of my back," Abby told E! News. "But I think it was a little disrespectful to ABC and to Dancing With the Stars and to a judge."
Woah! And Abby wasn't done, calling Meryl's footwork "horrendous," though she noted that "coming into this tonight, I thought she was the shoo-in for the win."
And in the video above, she kind of accuses Meryl and Maks of playing up a possible toe injury.
As for Maks, he definitely isn't too worried about sounding off about a judges' critiques, something he's been known to do in the past.
"I just answered the question. Someone asked me a question and I answered it," he explained. "That's what it was...I can't lie, but you'll see it on my face. It is what it is. My thing is that I am just enjoying this process, so Maks is back, not back, whatever...you have no idea who Maks is. This is me, this is how I want to be. I just want to have fun and enjoy myself."
So how did Meryl feel about Abby's comments? Watch our interview with her, Maks and Abby above to find out!
