We're going to need even bigger umbrellas.

Though Sharknado 2: The Second One has yet to premiere, Syfy is already hard at work on the cult franchise's third outing.

Yes, Sharknado 3 is officially happening, people! The network announced that a third installment will be released in Summer 2015, with a new city, which has yet to be selected, set to be devoured by flying sharks.

Of course, it should come as no surprise that Syfy is continuing the Sharknado franchise after the massive success of the first film, with the inaugural broadcast attracting 1.4 million viewers, 566,000 of them adults 18-49, aka the most important demo as far as networks are concerned.

While the first film was set in Los Angeles, the sequel will find returning stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid looking to save New York City, with executive producer and director Anthony C. Ferrante explaining, "If we stayed in Los Angeles, it would've been boring, but we went to New York and we have a whole new set of tinker toys."

Some of the new faces viewers will be seeing in Sharknado 2: The Second One include Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath and Judah Friedlander, with guest appearances by Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick and Judd Hirsch, among others.

Sharknado 2: The Second One premieres Thursday, July 30, at 9 p.m. on Syfy.

(E! and Syfy are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
