She's a five-time Oscar nominee with a red-hot career. But Amy Adams was a bit overwhelmed by some of the other big names in the house Tuesday, April 29, at the 2014 Time 100 Gala in New York City.

The American Hustle star was one of the honorees at the star-studded event, which toasted Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Adams exclusively told E! News' Alicia Quarles she was in awe of some of the other honorees. "There's a lot of powerful women this year and people who are making an impact," she said.

But which actress in particular gets a shout-out? Watch the video above to find out!

What other qualities does Adams admire? "Just people who are stepping forward and claiming themselves, and really an ownership of women. I hope we can continue in that way, in a powerful way and celebrate diversity, and celebrate individuality," she added.

Adams was the picture of elegance in a Tory Burch navy gown, which featured a plunging neckline and copper leaf-embroidered design.

The stunning star completed her look with neutral makeup, a simple updo, and fiancé Darren Le Gallo by her side.

Earlier this year, Adams was up for a Best Actress Oscar for her work in American Hustle.

While she didn't take home the little gold guy, she did win a Golden Globe Award for the role. Talk about having a smoking career! Amy just wrapped production on Tim Burton's Big Eyes, and she'll soon return to her role as Lois Lane in Batman vs. Superman.
