Someone send this couple a million balloons, stat. Let's really piss off the neighborhood!

Santa Clara, Calif., couple Hosam Haggog and Fatima Rahman painted their Victorian house to look just like the home from the Pixar movie Up. You know, the house with all bright colors and purple roof.

Well, apparently yellow houses don't fit in with the aesthetics of the neighborhood (is that even a thing people worry about?), because their neighbors are complaining about the paint job.

"I don't think it fits in," Lou Faria, a neighbor and a member of the Old Quad Residents Association told NBC Bay Area news. "It really, in my opinion, is atrocious that this Victorian is a gracious old lady and it's being painted up to look like a clown."

It wasn't doctored up to look like a clown! It looks like a Disney house! Personally, we would be honored if someone in our neighborhood turned their home into an ode to a Disney movie. Unless they were honoring Wall-E and it turned into a hoarders situation.

The reason that these complaints rub us the wrong way (besides the obvious reasons) is because Hosam and Fatima painted the house (while leaving the historical features untouched) not to stand out or make a tourist attraction, but to please their daughters.

"They love the movie Up and we just thought we'd give them something fun to be proud of, and actually all the kids in the neighborhood really love the colors," Hosam said.

Well, that's because kids don't worry about the general tone and "feel" of their neighborhood.

However, some neighbors just sort of shrugged their shoulders over the paint job.

"I like historical houses to be historical," resident Chuck Petersen said. "On the other hand, it's his home and I feel that sometime down the line it's going to be repainted again anyway."

What say you guys? Would you complain if someone in your neighborhood painted their house like this? Or would you look into the depths of your heart to find your childlike wonder again? It's in there somewhere!
