Katy Perry claims to be single but...is she ready to mingle?

Despite her joke about being "really deep on Tinder," the pop superstar doesn't seem to be hurting for company of the non-app variety.

Perry and DJ-producer Diplo went out for dinner together Thursday night in New York, almost two weeks after they were spotted looking very chummy at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California.

The musical duo ate at a restaurant inside the Marlton Hotel and then left together for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 premiere afterparty at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in Manhattan. We're told that they spent about an hour at the party and then headed to the Up & Down nightclub in the West Village.

Perry and Diplo (born Thomas Wesley Pentz) stayed there until about 2 a.m., after which they left separately but headed toward the same hotel.

The pop princess, still rocking her "slime green" hair, was wearing a sleeveless black top and a long brightly colored floral skirt--all very feminine. Diplo kept it casual in black jeans and a Kenzo sweatshirt with a big tiger face on the front.

An insider told E! News last week that, despite the pair's flirty behavior at Coachella, they were just "good friends," but another source seems to think that the two have been quietly more than that for a while.

"They get on really well," the source said. "He's just a fun guy and he makes her happy. They met when they started talking about doing music together, but there was an obvious chemistry there."

Of course, the perky Perry would have chemistry with a chair, she's so cute. B.J. Novak was also spotted chatting with her as she and Diplo were leaving dinner, and Leonardo DiCaprio was said to be at Up & Down that night as well, making for a handful of star sightings (not including everyone they may have rubbed elbows with at the Spidey party).

Perry and John Mayer broke up in February after about a year and a half of dating, off and on. She humorously acknowledged the split on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday, cracking to a fan during a triva sketch, "At least you have a boyfriend."
