It's been two months since E! News exclusively reported that Katy Perry and John Mayer called it quits and now the "Roar" singer is finally admitting that she's a single and ready to mingle.
While speaking with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, the "Birthday" beauty was asked whether she is single and the hitmaker hesitated for a moment before she replied.
"Uh, yes I am, hello" she said before adding, "I'm really deep on Tinder so I don't have a whole lot of time."
She publically acknowledged the breakup for the first time on Monday, laughing off the split on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"At least you have a boyfriend!" she lamented to one eager fan.
Following their split, a source told E! News that the Prism singer's upcoming world tour was a big issue for the former lovebirds. The insider says Perry, who is booked solid from May until November after adding another leg to her tour, was definitely putting her work first.
Another insider revealed that 29-year-old pop star felt for a while that something wasn't quite right between them, adding that, deep down, Perry suspected that she and Mayer were not right for each other.
Perry had been having doubts and ignoring them, the source said, so it came as a relief when the relationship was finally over.
Since the breakup, the "Dark Horse" singer has been "doing really good" a source told E! News exclusively. "She is in great spirits right now."
The singer was spotted at the Coachella Valley Music Festival earlier this month where she was seen acting "definitely flirting" with Diplo, sparking romance rumors.
According to multiple sources, Perry is still very much single and she isn't currently talking to Mayer. "Katy is focused on her tour right now," the source dished. "She is not allowing anything to distract her from it."
