And they called it puppy love.

Miranda Lambert has a passion for pups so it comes as no surprise that she was willing to pull her hair back, roll up her sleeves and provide her star power to get dogs adopted during a Tour For Life drive sponsored by the North Shore Animal League of America.

The country music star spent her Friday afternoon outside of a Walmart in Madill, Okla. with fans and her furry friends in an effort to get the doggies fostered in loving, forever homes.

The 30-year-old singer posted her success stories on her multiple social media accounts.

She captioned this pic of a dog and it's new owner, "Love....another adoption. Makes my heart happy!"

And she was even happier to get home to the six tail-waggers she's rescued, sharing a pic she snapped with two of them and writing, "Back home with my own shelter babies! Still only have 6! Didn't bring any home today! Thanks to everyone who adopted ! #tourforlife."
