World, get ready to meet the kids!

We fell in love with Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel when ABC's smash '90s series Boy Meets World premiered. And now, more than 20 years later, it's time for a brand new generation of TV-lovers to get to know the Matthews family in Girl Meets World, the Disney Channel's highly anticipated new comedy series from Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs.

With the continuation set to premiere this summer, fans will finally get to know Cory and Topanga's kids, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Auggie (August Maturo). Will they inherit Cory's undying optimism? Topanga' passion for learning? Uncle Eric's (Will Friedle) infectious immaturity?

We've already gifted hungry fans with the exclusive first look footage from Girl Meets World, but we know that many of you, like us, want to know more. To help get you better acquainted with the newest members of the Matthews family, we caught up with the young stars over the weekend and now we're bringing you exclusive scoop!

So are the Matthews kids ready to step into their parent's spotlights? "It's such a legacy that it hasn't even hit me yet that we're apart of such a big, colossal thing," Blanchard told E! News at the premiere of the all-new Despicable Me ride at Universal Studios.

Hey, we totally get it. It's one thing to try and to live up to your parents' expectations—but it's a whole other story when your mom and dad are one of the most beloved couples in the small screen's history. They're pretty much like TV royalty, so you had better bow down.

Watch our exclusive interview with Blanchard and Maturo above to get to know your new favorite Disney Channel stars and find out what it would be like to have Cory and Topanga as parents. (Obvious Spoiler Alert: It would be awesome!)
