Jennifer Aniston won Best Kiss at last night's MTV Movie Awards for her smooch sesh with Emma Roberts and Will Poulter in We're the Millers, but both ladies weren't in attendance to accept their Golden Popcorn statues.

Poulter, who won earlier in the evening for Best Breakthrough Performance, accepted the award on behalf of the trio.

So how come both Aniston and Roberts were no-shows at the ceremony?

The former Friends actress has been busy at work on her latest film project, Cake.

The 45-year-old has been filming the gritty indie flick about an hour outside of L.A. and spent most of the weekend on set.

Most recently, Aniston was seen filming with a darker brunette bob and a large scar across her famous face.

Aniston plays the role of a grieving mother who suffers from chronic pain after a life-changing car accident—which may explain the facial scar.

Her fiancé, Justin Theroux, has been seen visiting his leading lady as she spends her days working.

He arrived on his motorcycle last week and spent some quality time with Aniston during her breaks between shots.

Meanwhile, Roberts was checking out all the hippest parties and bands at the Coachella Music Festival a few hours away.

The actress was spotted smooching with fiancé Evan Peters over the weekend at the Lacoste Desert Pool Party nearby.

The actress tweeted shortly after she discovered that she had won the MTV Movie Award, however, saying, "Just found out about the MTV kiss award!!!! So awesome!! Thanks guys! And thanks to this guy @PoulterWill."
