A whole lot of stars stepped out to the 2014 MTV Movie Awards in simple, long black dresses and it's not who you'd think!
Typically stars like Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora and JWoww opt for over-the-top, envelope-pushing ensembles that are bright and colorful. But not tonight!
You'd think of all award shows, risk-taking stars like Nicki and Rita would choose something especially daring for the MTV Movie Awards, but they must have been in a sophisticated mood, because both stars chose floor-grazing black gowns.
Not that these dresses are boring—not by a long shot! Nicki's LBD (long black dress) showed off her enviable curves, and Rita flaunted major cleaving in a plunging neckline.
Then there was JWoww, who showed off her growing baby bump in a long-sleeved black gown. Sure, the dress had a deep v-neckline and bedazzled detailing, but it's still a pretty conservative look for the reality star.
Clearly something was in the water, because we didn't expect to see these typically over-the-top stars in such toned down looks. But regardless, they worked it!
