Hearing Ed Sheeran say "surfbort" may be one of the greatest things ever.

The U.K. singer-songwriter gave fans something else to squeal about when he appeared on Z100's Morning Show to chat with host Elvis Duran. Accompanied by his acoustic guitar, Sheeran told the radio host, "I did around 12 seconds of it and everyone online was like, 'I wanna hear a full version!'"

He had yet to reveal what song he was going to cover, but told Duran that since he made him cry last time he sang on the show, he was going to sing something to make him "groove."

And then he began covering Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love."

Effortlessly strumming his guitar, the 23-year-old instantly started to melt our hearts the second he began belting the famous hit.

And while it seemed like no surprise that he was able to kill certain parts of the track, it was impressive to see him keep up with some of the faster, tongue-tied hooks. He's definitely come a long way since the first time he tried to cover Queen B's single.

"I don't see myself as a sex symbol, but if other people do, I'm not going to complain," the young singer told Billboard in a new interview. "I'm a singer that you never want to see shirtless. No one does! I haven't got a six-pack or pecs."

With talent like that, packs and pecs aren't necessary.
