Bob Saget is telling you how he really feels about the How I Met Your Mother series finale.

The voice of future Ted was on Watch What Happens Live and predictably was asked about the controversial How I Met Your Mother series finale.

"I loved it...I was there with my oldest daughter at the reading, so I knew what it was. I knew that Josh was narrating it. Some people said that he should have turned into me, but it wasn't The Matrix," Saget said.

The finale saw Ted (Josh Radnor) finally finish telling his kids the story of how he met their now-deceased mother. With their blessing, he went after another woman he loved, Robin (Cobie Smulders), who was divorced from Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

"I loved the show. I thought they did a really beautiful job, so that's my opinion," Saget told Andy Cohen.

But not everybody shared his opinion. Fans took to Twitter following the HIMYM finale and vented. However, the executive producers stand by what they aired.

"To #HIMYM fans who didn't love the finale: We respect you and for every controversial finale, there is always a Plan B," co-creator Craig Thomas shared on Twitter. "We love all #HIMYM fans and respect all opinions...so we want to share that Plan B with you on the series box set. We stand by what aired and we are proud of it. But you guys came on such a long journey with us—we want to give you BOTH."

That's right, an alternate ending is coming your way, How I Met Your Mother fans.
