Growing out your bangs is an awkward phase that almost every woman goes through, but leave it to Michelle Obama to find a stylish solution for this particular case.

The chic first lady has been wearing custom stretchy bejewelled headbands by Wolford to keep her locks perfectly in place during recent outings, and we applaud her savvy accessory choice.

The luxury brand, which is famous for their high-end hosiery, sells the Fatal headband for $46 in plain black and white for the masses, but created special variations just for the FLOTUS.

"After being contacted by Michelle Obama's styling team, Wolford had the opportunity to custom create the headband for the first lady in a variety of colors," a company spokeswoman for Wolford America Inc. told WWD.

"As per her request, we custom-made jewelled headbands for Michelle Obama in a variety of colors in December 2013. However, the jewelled headbands are not available for purchase at this time."

While Michelle seems to favor the chic black crystallized style the most, Wolford also sent her a range of other colors including mocha, pine needle green, gray and Marlin blue to spice things up.

Perhaps we'll be seeing a bit of variety in Michelle's look as the weather warms up and she steps out in more colorful ensembles.

Either way, we're confident that she'll wow us from head to toe again and again.
