Prince George is only 8 months old, but he's ready to take on the world! Well, maybe not quite yet, but Kate Middleton and Prince William's little boy is doing a fine job Down Under on his first official royal tour.

The future king landed in Wellington, New Zealand, Monday looking bright-eyed and adorable as mum carried him off the plane. In his sweet cream ensemble, Georgie managed to shine alongside his duke and duchess parents.

On Wednesday, though, the little prince really got his chance to show off his personality at Plunkett's Parents Group playdate at Government House in Wellington. George, Kate and William joined 10 other infants and their parents for some fun. George proved to be quite a charmer, flirting with the ladies and playing with lots of new toys.

One fellow parent, Grant Collinge, told local TV program One News Georgie was his "own little man." Meaning? "He sort of took control went into the middle of the circle, hunted out the biggest toy, propped himself up, and he owned the place basically."

Hey, the future king's gotta start somewhere!
