A beauty in Beverly Hills!

Wearing a gorgeous black dress and a pair of high heels, Selena Gomez proved to be just that while attending The Alliance for Children's Rights 22nd annual dinner at the Beverly Hilton on Monday night.

But the 21-year-old singer-actress didn't show up alone, as she was joined by both her mom, Mandy, and her stepfather, Brian.

"The family are longtime supporters of the Alliance for close to five years now," an inside source exclusively told E! News, revealing that Mandy and Brian's production company, July Moon Productions, actually sponsored the dinner.

Our contact also added that "Mandy was adopted and was also a teen mom, so she relates to our work," and noted that "Mandy will sometimes speak at the events. She talks about raising Selena, about rising above your situation to achieve the most out of life. She's really empowering."

We were told Jimmy Kimmel was not only among some of the other celebs on hand, but that he "did a bit of standup" as well.

Of course, Selena is certainly no stranger to lending her fame to a worthy cause.

Just last month, the gal took the stage at the We Day California conference, where she delivered a poignant, heartfelt speech and opened up about her own personal struggles in order to inspire her young, eager audience.

"All I really want you to know is that you are changing the world," she said, in part, at the time. "I'm not changing the world, you're changing the world, and that's amazing...Please stay true to yourself."
