Those Simpson girls sure are something special!
Jessica Simpson Instagrammed a precious picture of daughter Maxwell gardening with Tina Simpson, aka grandma "GiGi." Only little Miss Maxwell, who turns 2 in May, wanted a fully immersive experience—so she popped a flower petal in her mouth!
"Stop and smell the roses Maxi," mama Jess captioned the picture of her playful mini-me. "Don't eat them!!! #rosepetaltongue"
Jessica Instagrammed another picture of Maxwell taking an interest in the "kitty cat" on grandma GiGi's shirt. Cute, yes, but even more impressive are the Daisy Dukes this 54-year-old grandmother of three is rocking. Get it, GiGi!
It's thanks in part to Tina's genes (and a healthy diet and exercise, of course) that Jessica, 33, was back in her daisy dukes just nine months after giving birth to son Ace Knute. The Weight Watchers spokeswoman proudly showed off her estimated 60-70 pound weight loss in a teeny-tiny pair of True Religion Joey cut-offs last month—a nice, "Look at these legs, y'all," to her unrelenting weight critics.
Actually, Jess thinks her fluctuating figure really only helped her launch her career as a fashion mogul. "I got so much scrutiny for putting on extra pounds, but I think that the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding," she told Lucky magazine in 2012. "Because when you're really, really skinny, not everybody can relate to you."
But when you're really, really hot—and worked really, really hard to get that way—people respect you and want to get on board with whatever it is you're doing!
