What if Game of Thrones was a classic sitcom? Wonder no more!

The hit HBO drama has been given the sitcom treatment by io9…at least as far as opening credits go. There's cheesy music (a must), fuzzy graphics (another huge necessity), tons of smiles (hey, you have to smile in the face of death sometimes) and bubbly font. You know, it's everything Game of Thrones is not.

Come for the sex scenes and violent deaths, stay for the laugh track. You won't look at Game of Thrones the same way.

Game of Thrones returns for its fourth season on HBO on Sunday, April 6, but it won't be sunshine and laughter.

"There is tremendous clamor for revenge, especially in the wake of the Red Wedding," executive producer David Benioff said. "Some of the most shocking and mind-blowing scenes of the entire series come at the end of this coming season. Some very bloody confrontations."

Yikes.
