Jessica Simpson doesn't just love spending every waking moment with daughter Maxwell and son Ace Knute—she falls asleep looking at their pictures, too!

But, really, can you blame her?! The fashion mogul and mama extraordinaire Instagrammed a few new snaps of her little ones Thursday night. "...now I know what my life is about," she captioned one particularly precious shot of 9-month old Ace in a plaid onesie (!), adding," I am so grateful."

Jess, 33, also shared a snap of her mini-me, who turns 2 in May, all bundled up in a pile of blankets. According to mom's caption, "Maxi can't wait for RIO2"—the sequel to the 2011 animated film which hits theaters next Friday.

Ace might be a tad too young to see a movie in the theater, but once it hits DVD, the Simpson-Johnson household can watch together as part of their many family nights! Jessica and fiancé Eric Johnson are committed to raising happy, healthy children, but that doesn't mean stressing out over every insignificant little thing.

"I think that we can easily put expectations on our children just by comparing them to other children," Jessica told iVillage in 2012. "I obviously want to know that my daughter is healthy, that I'm doing the right thing in taking care of her and she's getting all the nutrients that she needs."

"But, I think that as parents, we do a lot of comparing and we don't really focus on our child in their own individuality," she explained. "Taking away all the comparisons is a really healthy way to parent—and not focus on the percentiles and all that kind of stuff."

Wise words, J.Simp!
