Miley Cyrus is in mourning.

The 21-year-old "Adore You" singer informed her Twitter followers Tuesday that her dog Floyd had died. "Today is the 2nd worst day of my life," she wrote, adding, "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken." Cyrus shared several pictures of herself with her pet pooch and told her 17.6 million followers, "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."

Cyrus, who is touring to support her album Bangerz, admitted she may not be in the best spirits at her next show: "I'm sorry in advance if I am not myself tomorrow Boston. I will try my best to be my best."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer also posted a close-up of her teary eye on Instagram, writing, "Sad pupil."

The pop star then shared a fortune with fans on Instagram that read: "Your love of live can carry you through any circumstance." Per Cyrus' Twitter account, "Sometimes pf changs knows just what you need to hear."

No word yet how the Alaskan Klee Kai died.

Cyrus' pup, Ziggy, accidentally killed her Yorkie, Lila, in December 2012; she later took Ziggy to SPOT dog rescue and the organization found her a new home with no other pets or children. The "23" singer also looks after Rottweiler-beagle mix Happy, German shepherd Mate, Chihuahua mix Bean, and rescue pup Mary Jane, whom she adopted with her former fiancé, Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Liam Hemsworth.
