Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam is almost unrecognizable!

The handsome Sons of Anarchy star got rid of his signature full beard over weekend and emerged on Sunday with a smooth, shaven face while grocery shopping in Toronto. The 33-year-old kept his look casual and relaxed for outing, slicking his hair back and wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and Nike sneakers.

This unexpected change is a departure for the actor, who normally sports major scruff to play the role of Jax Teller on the popular FX series. However, his sexy appearance definitely had a positive effect on the female fans, who flocked around him as he left the store.

The Brit is currently in Canada shooting Crimson Peak with Guillermo Del Toro, whom he previously worked with on last summer's blockbuster Pacific Rim.

Last fall, the stud famously turned down the epic role of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, which Universal Pictures and Focus Features attributed to his "immersive TV schedule which was not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role."

After stepping aside, Hunnam had nothing but praise for his replacement Jamie Dornan. "I'm sure he'll do a great job," he told TMZ. "I don't really know his work, but I know Sam [Taylor-Johnson], the director, is amazing, and she has fantastic taste, so I'm sure he'll do a great job."
