We already know Amanda Bynes looked amazing during her first FIDM end-of-quarter event and now we have an update on the 27-year-old star's well-being.

"Amanda is doing great and excelling in her studies," the Bynes' family attorney Tamar Arminak exclusively tells E! News. "She is a natural when it comes to fashion and is really enjoying the learning process."

The erstwhile Nickelodeon star successfully finished her first quarter at FIDM's Orange County campus last week. Her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, attended a runway show on campus which showcased the designs of aspiring student designers.

"Her parents and family are so proud of her," Arminak added. "She is an amazing girl."

The once-troubled starlet appears to have transitioned well to her new life, following a tumultuous 2013 during which she spent nearly six months in rehab after being placed on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold in July.

"She's a great student who always participated and really cared about her classes," a source exclusively told E! News of Amanda's demeanor at FIDM. "She really fit in and loves her school."

In fact, she plans to take more classes this April. "If she was offered an acting job any time soon," the source continued, "she may not take it because she's so focused on school."

Bynes has also been focusing on her fitness and has been seen hitting the gym on a number of different occasions, and clearly, the hard work is paying off (seriously, girl looks great!).

And she's also back on social media after taking a hiatus for quite some time, providing an update for her Twitter followers on March 1. "Hi everyone! I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans!," she wrote, in addition to sharing a "new sketch" that is believed to be a self-portrait.

"Amanda's really talented at what she does so the picture is the real deal," the source said. "She's only just beginning."
