Despite splitting up, the former couple vowed to remain friends as they raise their two children Apple and Moses together. The duo said in a statement, "In many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children...We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
Paltrow and Martin even jetted off for a family vacation together in the Bahamas the same week they announced their split (talk about amicable!).
But Paltrow and Martin aren't the only celebrity exes who remained friendly after splitting up. Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, who split up last year, also remain close. And years before, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis showed everyone how to raise a family amicably post-divorce.
