Did Jennifer Lopez forget she was on live TV?

During Wednesday's American Idol, the judge accidentally said "f--k" in the midst of critiquing contestant Jena Irene's stellar performance of Evanescence's 2003 rock hit "Bring Me To Life."

"Jena, you sound phenomenal," she said. "[Harry Connick, Jr.'s] right, the minute we hear your voice it's soothing, it's like, 'Oh, my god,' and she's gonna sing it great. The only thing I would say is I wanted you to be more messy. Do you know what I mean?" J.Lo demonstrated what she meant by flipping her own tresses wildly and saying, "You were kind of fixing your hair, and right at the beginning you kind of just threw yourself into the crowd and your hair went crazy. I wish it would have been more messy."

Fellow judge Keith Urban then teased Lopez, saying, "Do that again!" That prompted Connick to chant, "Hair flip! Hair flip!" In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, Lopez accidentally dropped the F-bomb.

The embarrassed "I Luh Ya Papi" singer covered her mouth as Connick announced, "That's Jenny from the block!" Lopez didn't fret over the flub for long before returning her attention to Irene. "Listen, that's all I would say. Even watching [Caleb Johnson], you saw it he doesn't care his hair is everywhere, it's crazy. That's what you need to do when you sing a song like that because we were so with you and that's what we needed you to do to take us even further. Great job, though! Amazing job!"

Lopez joins a long list of celebrities who've accidentally cussed on live TV, including Meredith Vieira on Today, Tom Hanks and John Mayer on Good Morning America and Russell Brand on This Morning.
