Kate Middleton is putting the finishing touches on her Anmer Hall country home with Prince William and Prince George!

E! News has learned that the Duchess of Cambridge stopped by Knights Oriental Rugs recently and picked up a few pieces for her new estate.

And it's not every day that the royal beauty drops into your store unannounced, but that's exactly what happened according to the shop's owner Simon Knight.

"She came in alone although her royal protection officer was with her," he told us about Kate's visit.

"There wasn't any commotion in the area…she said she was furnishing a Georgian home."

He also shared, "She said she'd been looking at my website, looking at specific items, and that she was interested in seeing Turkish kilim rugs. She was buying them to go into bedrooms."

Simon revealed that Kate purchased two rugs, "one was a soft red and another soft ivories with soft blues, pastel colors."

Kate spent over an hour deciding on the perfect pieces for her home and told Simon that she "wanted to have her own influence with the interior of the property."

Simon added that the duchess was a "really lovely young lady" and that "the moment you talk to her you know that she is very well-educated.

"We had a very enjoyable time, she was such a nice person…she had a way of making you feel really relaxed. If you didn't know she was a member of the royal family you'd just think she was a very pleasant young lady."
