Does Jamie Dornan get turned on by Sex and the City?!
According to a report in the U.K.'s Sun newspaper, the super-hunky Fifty Shades of Grey actor watched DVDs of SATC before stripping down for steamy sex scenes in his new miniseries New Worlds. "[Costar] Joe [Dempsie] and I watched all the Sex and the City box sets," the 31-year-old Irish reportedly said. "That helped...We had a ball, it was a good [fun]."
However, Dornan was totally kidding and didn't actually watch Sarah Jessica Parker and gals to get in the mood.
"This was said tongue in cheek and he was referring to New Worlds, not Fifty Shades of Grey," a source tells E! News.
Meanwhile, New Worlds, which Dornan shot before Fifty Shades of Grey, is a historical romance drama that takes place in England. Dornan says he had a blast making the period piece.
"Obviously we're getting the work done but you're allowed to have fun at work," he dished. "I'd stop if I wasn't allowed to have fun."
