It's quite possible that people will soon be flocking to Starbucks before and after work. And if you're one of those who people who pounds away on a laptop at Starbucks all day long, good luck on that screenplay/TV pilot/young adult novel!

Starbucks has been testing out their "Evenings Menu" in select cities (Los Angeles, Seattle and Chicago, to name a few), which consists of appetizer-esque items like flatbreads and chicken skewers and a small variety of beers and wines. And on Friday, the company announced that they plan to expand their evening menus to more of their 20,000 plus locations.

"We've tested it long enough in enough markets. This is a program that works," Chief Operating Officer Troy Alstead told Bloomberg.com. "As we bring the evening program to stores, there's a meaningful increase in sales during that time of the day."

So your neighborhood Starbucks might soon have a selection of wines and beers on the menu next to your Venti Caramel Macchiato. You probably have a lot of questions about this new Starbucks venture, and most of them are answered on the company's website

The only question we have, however, is if we can get a Trenta-sized glass of red wine after a long day at work. If we can get that, plus a significant drop in teenagers hanging around our Starbucks with their texting and their Tindering and whatnot, then we'll be fully on board with Starbucks evenings.

Would you buy booze and dinner from Starbucks?
