Of course, it's after Spider-Man has glued Gwen Stacy's hand to a cab so that she doesn't follow him into danger; hotly anticipated sequel is in theaters May 2

We've seen Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone kiss in real life—but there's still nothing like seeing Spider-Man planting one on his first love, Gwen Stacy.

Sony has released the final trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring the real-life couple and introducing James Franco's heir to the Harry Osborn throne, Dane Dehaan—who, we can tell just from these action-packed two and a half minutes, is actually going to make a far better rich-kid-with-issues turned Green Goblin.

The hotly anticipated sequel also features Paul Giamatti and Jamie Foxx as similarly nasty-looking supervillains The Rhino and Electro, and promises all sorts of CGI-aided stunts, most of them airborn, plus just enough romance to keep our hearts pounding even when Spider-Man isn't on the move.

But even though Garfield's conflicted Marvel superhero almost always is on the move, he doesn't forget the sweet stuff.

"Sorry! I love you—don't hate me!" he charmingly shouts at Stone's Gwen after gluing her hand to a car with (what else) a clump of Spidey webs when she insists on following him into danger.

Aw...

The Marc Webb-directed sequel swings into theaters May 2.
