It looks like Ryan Reynolds is returning the gesture.
A month after Blake Lively paid her husband a visit on the set of his upcoming movie Mississippi Grind in New Orleans, the actor opted to do the same on Monday.
Reynolds was all smiles as he arrived at the shooting location in Vancouver, Canada of the film The Age of Adaline, Lively's first project since Gossip Girl ended in 2012.
An eyewitness tells E! News exclusively that the cute couple met up for lunch and Reynolds stayed for about 30 minutes. Our source added that Reynolds is not with Lively during the week, as he is shooting a movie as well, and comes up to see her on the weekends.
On set, Lively could be seen sporting a decidedly retro look, which makes sense, given the storyline.
Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, who helmed Celeste and Jesse Forever, the movie follows the "miraculous life of the 29-year-old title character (portrayed by Lively), who stops aging after recovering from a near fatal accident. Over the 20th century she embarks on an epic but isolated worldwide journey, keeping her secret, until she meets a man who forever alters her life."
In addition to Lively, the flick also stars Ellen Burstyn, Michiel Huisman and Harrison Ford.
It is slated to be released sometime in 2015.
