ESPN host Michelle Beadle is going back to prom!

The 38-year-old sportscaster was recently asked to prom by Minnesota teen Jack Jablonski, a former hockey player who is now paralyzed from the chest down after a 2011 hockey game accident.

While co-hosting his weekly "Hockey Night in Minnesota" radio segment on 105 The Ticket this week, Jablonski made the bold move on Beadle while she was a guest on the show, saying, "I'd formally like to invite you to my prom."

"Seriously, I would love it," the blond beauty graciously replied. "Can I wear an '80s dress to the prom? They're going to be like, ‘Why'd you bring a chaperone, Jack?'"

She humorously added, "And no alcoholic beverages, Jack, I will be watching."

Beadle followed up on the touching prom invite in an interview with website Larry Brown Sports, writing, "I know that he's a badass and someone I look up to immensely. I was shocked when he asked today. And I adore him for doing it live on the radio. I'm honored to squeeze my 38-year-old behind into a formal gown for a great night!"

Beadle also took to Twitter to joke about her upcoming date with Jablonski, writing, "Woke up with a pimple. I blame @Jabs_13." He wrote back, "@MichelleDBeadle it's that high school life... #pubertyround2."
